Building clarity for mission-driven organizations.

Mission and Strategy

“Everything is urgent.”

Different departments describe priorities differently.

People spend more time navigating the organization than advancing the mission.

Organizations rarely struggle because they lack passion or ideas. More often, they struggle because priorities become fragmented, urgency overrides intentional decision-making, and staff experience strategy differently across teams.

As organizations grow, mission can slowly become disconnected from day-to-day operations. Strong strategy creates operational clarity – helping leadership, managers, and staff understand what matters most, how decisions get made, and where resources should be focused.

How I Can Help

I started as a social researcher and evaluator. I’ve designed measurement systems, built Theories of Change, and helped organizations understand whether their work was actually working. That foundation shapes everything I do. I’ve built IRB-approved evaluation frameworks, four-year longitudinal impact analyses, and KPI dashboards that gave leadership real visibility into outcomes. At Fostering Farmers, that same discipline produced a strategic plan that moved an early-stage nonprofit from idea to operational clarity.

I help organizations build the feedback loops that connect daily work back to mission.

Questions To Consider

  • What are we actually trying to accomplish?
  • Do staff and leadership understand priorities the same way?
  • Are resources aligned to the organization’s actual priorities?
  • What should we stop doing?
  • Is decision-making proactive or constantly reactive?
